Alannah Robinson
Optometrist/Manager
Alannah has been part of the team here at Adcotts since January 2011. A lot of our success here in Lymm comes down to the fact that our patients love her. We're still not sure if that's down to her excellent Optometric skills, or simply down to her beautiful Irish accent! Either way, Alannah's always smiling and brightens our days at the practice. A skilled Optom who has a great relationship with her daughters, and loves a fab beach break in the sun! Alannah will always treat you to a lovely professional experience. Ask about "OCT" and the latest technology and she'll be able to talk to you for days. (Contact lenses are particularly her "thing".)
Vicki Patton
Optometrist/Manager
Vicki has joined our team as an Optometrist and Manager. She has a wealth of experience as a community optometrist, as well as working in the teaching clinics at the University of Manchester Optometry programme. She also works for the College of Optometrists, assessing the newest cohort of qualifying Optometrists. As you can tell, she really does love Optometry. When she is not working, she has 2 young sons who keep her on her toes. She loves to be busy and is a great addition to the Adcott's team.
Sarah McConnell
Senior Optical Advisor
Sarah has recently joined our team as an Optical Consultant/Stylist. She started her career in optics in 2000 and spent the next 18 years working as an Optical Advisor/Frame Stylist in Manchester City Centre. She has worked with all the high end brands and knows all the latest trends and exactly what looks great on. Deciding it was time for fresh horizons - Sarah arrived at Adcott's in February 2024, and already loves the village lifestyle. The proud mum of 2 strapping lads, Sarah is a keen runner, who loves doing marathons, and holidays in the sun. She has a wicked sense of humour (which we all love) - beware!
Natalia Skowronek
Senior Optical Advisor
Natalia qualified as a Dispensing Optician in Poland in 2006. Later that year, she moved to the UK and took a position in a glazing lab supplying glasses to optical practices UK wide. She worked as a Branch Manager in an optical practice for 3 years, before moving to one of the big chains, where she worked happily for another 5 years. Deciding it was time for a change of pace, Natalia then joined the Adcott team in June 2024. She has a passion for styling customers to ensure everyone feels fabulous when they leave the practice. She loves having days out and sunny holidays with her daughter, as well baking delicious treats for her friends and family.
Deborah Adcott
Owner / Optometrist (now retired)
Debbie has now retired, and is currently enjoying her 5 lovely grandchildren. Owner and Optometrist extraordinaire, Debbie still offers sought after advice to the local community. Living in Lymm, Debbie enjoys taking her little dog Marley out for walks, as well as knitting and general arts & crafts. Feel free to ask Debbie anything eyecare related, she's sure to have the answer and will give it to you with a smile on her face!
